Herbert Terry and Sons Limited Long Service Award presented to Harry Aston in December 1944 in appreciation of forty-one years’ service. Frame dimensions: 30 cm wide, 38 cm high.

Photograph album of equipment in High Duty Alloys Laboratory in 1950’s. The album contains 27 photographs. The album was found by the son of John Alan Griffiths (father in picture) in a shed.

Building Society money boxes were supplied to children to encourage saving. The base is opened with a key (not supplied) which was held by the Society, the money would then be placed in the account.

RDDHM.2022.56 – Alcad Batteries Poster

This framed poster, which was produced shortly after the purchase of ALCAD by Saft Batteries of France in 1987. It gives a brief history of the company and was hung in the reception area of the Union Street site until its closure in 1993.
