This site provides the the vehicle for accessing the archives and the artefacts that have been donated.
Collecting, recording, interpreting and storing artefacts relating to Redditch local history is a key element of the museums operation. The are national standards for the procedures and processes that should be employed in managing archives and the museum is committed to adopting and following those standards.
To support us in meeting these standards, and therefore ultimately being recognised as an accredited archive facility, we are installing the Modes Artefact Management system as the basis for our record keeping.
